EMBRY HEALTH ADMINISTERS VACCINES AT YOUNGKER HIGH SCHOOL

Buckeye, Ariz. – Embry Health administered vaccines to Phase 1B prioritizing Education and Childcare Providers on February 13th at Youngker High School.

Embry Health providers vaccinated only the BUHSD Staff for the novel coronavirus between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. This was a private event that required proof of district credentials.

Embry Health provided the first dose of Moderna COVID-19 vaccines for the BUHSD Staff. Embry Health was allotted 1,800 vaccines for the event. 464 vaccines were administered to the BUHSD staff on Saturday, February 13th. Moderna vaccines are dosed four weeks apart. Embry Health is working with community partners to stop the spread of this crippling virus.

Embry Health’s Director of Business Development, Patrick Aiken, loves the work. “Pre-COVID, I was working in the event industry. With music festivals canceled and venues closed down, this has been a great way for me to put my skills to use and hopefully get us back to a point where we can once again host large live events.”
